The Life Of Skylark Triton - 966 Words
In a remote part of the world lived a newly tuned eighteen-year-old girl named Skylark Triton. Her father had given her that name. He believed if a person was going to been exceptional in life, they needed an exceptional name. This being said, she lived with her single mother, a lonely marine biologist, studying the coral reef growth patterns in the area. Because of this, her home was a sea boat. From the outside, the chipped whitely painted boat looked small in size, but inside the sailboat held two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a tiny living room area and a pop out dinner table which also function as a desk for her. As long as Skylark could remember the boat had been their home, taking them around the world for her mothers job.â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦She never understood other girls and avoided personal relationships. Her mother had taught her from a young age the important things in the world. Due to this, she did not have much of a childhood. Her Dad had left the fam ily when Skylar was young, and since that day, She had not heard a single word from him. Her mother commented once, ââ¬Å"Your father Skylark was different person. He was never meant to settle down, and raise a family. I knew that from the beginning.â⬠Skylark never knew what to believe. She couldnââ¬â¢t even remember what her father looked liked anymore, but was told she resemble him very much. Skylark had long extravagant golden blonde hair that shinned brightly in the warm tropical sun. Her eyes displayed beautiful blues and greens all meshed together in a unique arrangement, with extensive jet-black eyelashes. Paired with olive toned skin and legs that extended for days. Skylark had striking features; the only thing was she had no clue of her beauty. She loathed the fact that she resembled her ditching father. She longed to look like her mother, to have her sleek black hair and eyes as dark as a great white shark. Basically her mother and Skylark were complete opposites . Also, Skylark longed to swim. During her early years, her mother, busy with research, did not have time to teach Skylark to swim. Now, Skylark looked a turquoise waters at nothing, but a sadly reminded of her so called
